We normally use PayPal’s online payment system, allowing you to use your credit or debit card — you don’t need an account with them to do this.
Alternatively, you can pay by bank transfer (BACS), inwhich case email contact us for details in advance.
Once an order for a physical product (books, CDs, cards) is received it will normally be sent by first class Royal Mail (within the UK) or airmail (outside UK) within three working days. Digital products (online course materials, MP3s, etc) will normally be made available for download within five minutes of purchase online.
You will be notified of any anticipated delays in delivery and given the option of waiting or having a refund.
Physical goods (books, CDs, cards) may be returned for refund if sent back in shop condition within seven days of receipt. Shipping charges and any other fees we have paid cannot be refunded, and goods are returned at the customer’s cost.
MP3s cannot be returned for refund unless you can demonstrate they are defective, in which case they will be replaced.
Refunds for workshops may be eligible for full or partial refund, depending on how much notice you give us (BUT see Deposits and Instalments, below).
In all cases where you wish to return an item, please contact us first.
If goods arrive damaged, incomplete or faulty, please let us know immediately. We will replace items as soon as possible at no cost to you.
Your consumer rights remain unaffected and all disputes are subject to English Law.
Please be aware that deposits are not usually refundable. When you start paying for something by instalments you are liable for the whole balance. Release from this binding contract will be decided by SoulSchool. Refunds against instalments paid to date will not be made except under exceptional circumstances, to be determined at the sole discretion of SoulSchool.
The consultation you are booking will be given in good faith and we hope it will be helpful. It is personal to you and not applicable to anyone else. Any use you make of the consultation is entirely at your own risk. Neither Theolyn Cortens nor anyone working on her behalf is liable in law or otherwise to you or any other third party for any loss whatsoever, whether economic or personal arising out of the use of your consultation. You agree to indemnify Theolyn Cortens, her servants and agents, from any action, claim or loss arising out of its use. The law applicable is that of England.

Any information and/or advice given to you by Theolyn should not take the place of any medical, legal, financial or other advice given to you by any qualified professional. You are strongly advised to take out holiday insurance when booking a retreat or workshop. This should cover you for any loss incurred if you are unable to come for, say, reasons of sickness or some other unexpected eventuality. In all cases, by enrolling on a workshop or retreat you indemnify Theolyn Cortens SoulSchool against any loss or damage, financial or otherwise.
When booking on any SoulSchool retreat or workshop, you are asserting that your mental and physical health will not impede your full participation. If you have any health issues that may interfere with your full participation, you must let us know in advance so we can assess your suitability for the learning program on offer. In all cases, by enrolling on a workshop or retreat you indemnify Theolyn Cortens SoulSchool against any health problems you may attribute to attendance on the retreat or workshop, either at the time or after the retreat or workshop has completed.
Membership of Theolyn.com is offered entirely free as a means of encouraging a creative relationship between you and Theolyn.com. We reserve the right to change or remove any benefits at any time without notice and we provide such benefits on an “as is” basis. No guarantee is offered that benefits of membership will be available indefinitely. While you are a Member we will send you email newsletters from time to time. You may unsubscribe at any time by using the link found at the foot of every newsletter or other circulated email communication.
We have a zero-tolerance policy on spamming: we do not spam people ourselves and we take a very dim view of those who spam others. We particularly dislike those who join Theolyn.com who are known spammers and can therefore be assumed to be joining for the express purpose of spamming our Members.
If you are a known spammer, expect to be blocked from our site and reported. Expect us to contact your internet service provider, demanding they suspend your access to the internet. Expect us to do anything possible to put you out of business.
If you are not a spammer but have been blocked from Theolyn.com because our system has identified you as one, please contact us and we will help you as best we can. With so many fake registrations occurring daily on our site, it is inevitable that sometimes innocent people are wrongly identified as spammers. Please accept our apologies, but understand this is to do with tryng to protect our Members from unwanted material.
